Singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Mariupol, lives in Trier. 20 songs of her own since 2013.
Viktoria Popova was born and grew up in Mariupol. She has been singing and writing songs since 2013 — in Russian, English, German and Ukrainian.
In 2017 she stepped onto the X-Factor stage with her own song The First Time; the recording gathered more than 250 thousand views. She now lives in Trier, has graduated from Hochschule Trier, and sings in a duo with Simon Tölkes.
Besides music there is photography: her own studio, GreenPhoto, in Saarburg. Out of these two occupations she assembled a genre of her own, which she called visual poetry: one person makes the music, the filming, the voice and the edit.
«VISUAL POETRY — это вещь, в которой я создаю все элементы сразу: видео, музыку, игру, голос, цвет, эффекты и текст. Всю жизнь я хотела быть последовательной и иметь один творческий интерес. Но он всегда приходил волнами: месяц я вдохновлённый автор песен, потом фотограф, потом художник. Хорошо, что они возвращались. Теперь я решила принять это в себе. Визуальная поэзия — результат этого принятия.»
